Aniimo Discovery: free searches, timer checks, and Vein Essence
The short answer
The official notice gives no free-attempt refill interval. Check the count and timer in your current server client. If the count stays unchanged after zero, record the before-and-after values and recheck; investigating does not require Vein Essence.
Event times and free-attempt rules
- The 1.1 notice lists Sep 25, 04:00 through Oct 9, 03:59: Europe uses UTC, Americas UTC−4, and APAC UTC+8. Student II is required. These server-local dates are not one simultaneous global window.
- Free Search Attempts replenish periodically; unused free attempts do not stack. After exhausting them, you can spend Vein Essence to continue. The notice specifies neither daily nor three-day refills, nor a fixed refill count.
Timer back at three days, with no refill?
- Two September 28 player threads report this symptom. Another author later edited their post to say it was fixed, while regional reports differed. These reports do not establish a universal outage or fix. We have not verified an official universal remedy for this symptom.
Check without spending Essence
- 1. Before zero, record your server, free-attempt count, timer, platform, and time with its time zone. Keep a screenshot.
- 2. After zero, check the free-attempt count on the same screen. If unchanged, restart once and recheck. This tests the display; it is not a guaranteed fix. Keep the same account and server for comparison.
- 3. If the discrepancy persists, give official support the before-and-after screenshots, server, platform, client version, and exact times. Keep the original records; do not pay for searches merely to test the timer.
Essence and research buffs
- Consider Vein Essence when free attempts are exhausted and you choose to continue, rather than as a timer repair. Research Quests award rewards; research progress unlocks Search Buffs in the Research Center. Read each buff in-game: the notice does not list all effects.
